Links for Lazy Writers Like Me

It's Tuesday, which is my Monday. Here are a bunch of super-smart classy things I found on the Internet that you might also enjoy.

Super-duper encouraging spam comment from my last link roundup:

Do you like crying at work? Like, both at your desk and in the bathroom? Then you'll love these photo series!

I wrote this in response to this. (Letting a third party edit your stuff is hard, but it's close enough to the original...I don't know why I must so stubbornly insist on sharing that.)

Candy isn't bad for you! At least that's what I got out of this.

One of my favorite Internet people (that's how far I'll go to avoid the word “blogger”) has a book coming out today! I've ordered it from the library, but maybe you're rich and want to buy it.

Edward Norton is one of my all-time favorite actors, so I was surprised how surprised all the surprised people watching last week's SNL were that he is so funny and talented. I've read that sentence three times, and I'm still not sure if it works. A highlight for many was of course this trailer for an imaginary Wes Anderson horror movie.

It totally snuck up on me, but exactly one year ago today, I had just landed in Paris to kick off three straight months of country hopping. I've blogged—I don't know—like, five times since then... So here are some of my most popular posts from a trip that started a year ago today:

The Suitcase

How a Photo Booth Saved the Day and Got Me the Heck out of India

Old Worn-out Saddles and Old Worn-out Memories

Wondering why I only shared three posts? Oh, it's because I just decided this was the best idea I've ever had and plan fully on doing this weekly. Here's to repurposing content!

Have a great rest of the week, everyone, and enjoy this picture of me looking well-rested and glamorous while enjoying a fresh fish sandwich in Istanbul:

Your comments are why I get out of bed in the morning. Just kidding. But I do like them.
