Bad Ideas: Oh Shannon

I believe in celebrating the realization of really bad ideas. The truth is we are all, from time to time, struck with a bad idea cloaked in the veil of genius. Late at night or early early morning, indistinguishable from my really good ideas, I incoherently scribble these down on napkins, clumsily tap them into my keyboard, or leave them on my phone in rambling voice-memos. The difference is, a filter- perhaps in the form of time or lack of resources- exists in between the seed of these ideas taking root and their actualization. 


Let's celebrate when something goes wrong with that filter. 

Here to start us off, a commercial that's been running to advertise the website, www.EducationConnection.com- a self-proclaimed one-stop resource to assist those searching for information on completing their degree. 

 

That commercial was bad enough. I was particular angry at the length and lack of hook in the jingle. I mean, give me a chorus or something.
But then they had to up the ante with an actress as spokesperson. Oh Shannon.
